XL Recordings asked us to create the music video for Powell's debut single, Johnny. I developed the original creative concept, discovered and cast the film's lead from Germany, and led the creative direction through production, resulting in a surreal, high-energy film featuring Powell fans from around the world and world record melon smasher Tafzi Ahmed.
